There are so many communites, tribes, groups - whatever you want to call them - around the world with the soul purpose of connecting you with like-minded, inspiring people, to encourage you to live more adventurously and make a positive impact in the world we share. They host many inspiring events throughout the year, where you will meet supportive, awesome, like-minded people.

Live Your Legend is a community on a mission to ensure our lives are days filled with purpose. They believe that when you align who you are, with what you do, you will make a positive impact on the world around you. They have local groups all over the world, free workbooks, challenges to get you thinking and online courses, to help you change the world by doing what you love.

 

 

 

Explorers Connect

Explorers Connect is a community madeup of thousands of people who like to explore new places, try new experiences, meet new people and live more adventurously! They host a series of inspiring advenuture talks throughout the year, along with adventure courses and holidays, ranging from bushcraft, cliff camping and wolf tracking to multi day hikes and canoeing trips.

 

Adventure Uncovered

Adventure Uncovered's purpose is to accelerate social and environmental change through responsible adventure. They curate a number of events throughout the year, including outdoor excursions (Impact Events), inspirational talks, workshops and discussions (Adventure Uncovered Live), and films (Adventure Uncovered Film Festival), all featuring unique, compelling content from a diverse range of purpose-driven adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts.

 

Gutsy Girls

Gutsy Girls is a community for women seeking adventures, taking on new challenges, facing fears and having incredible experiences together. They host a wide range of women only day events, weekend retreats and holidays to connect like minded women, discover new sports and activities in a supportive, non-intimidating and fun environment. Ever wanted to learn activities like surfing, SUP, skateboarding or wakeboarding? Then this is the group for you!

 

Adventure Queens

Adventure Queens is a women’s adventure community, set up with the aim of delicately smashing down the barriers that prevent women from heading off on adventures. They provide practical information, tips and advice on all things wild camping and the great outdoors. Little by little, bit by bit, Adventure Queens is helping women from the UK and beyond have the confidence to get out there and get WILD. They have a brilliant supportive facebook community where women from all walks of life share their tips, concerns and support each other in getting outside.

 

Love Her Wild

Love Her Wild is an adventure community bringing together ordinary women to do extraordinary things. They host expeditions bringing together like-minded women to have life-changing experiences, as well as running a mentorship scheme, where they connect women with a challenge in mind, with a suitable female adventurer. The mentor is there to provide advice, inspiration and words of encouragement to women who want support for their next adventure.

 

Royal Geographical Society

The RGS hosts a number of thought provoking events and workshops throughout the year. One of the most popular events in their annual calendar is Explore - an annual expedition and field research seminar held every November. With over 90 leading field scientists and explorers, the Explore weekend is unmissable for inspiration, advice and contacts, which will leave you asking yourself 'what will I create, between now and next year?'.

 

Tales of Adventure

Tales of Adventure is for Londoners who are looking for some inspiration mid-week. It's full of extraordinary stories of exploration & adventure shared by some of our intrepid and at times, world record breaking friends. The event is held once a month and is a great place to connect with like-minded adventurous souls.
